8/2/2018 · The Samsung techs can remotely connect to your TV and do a factory reset . They will instruct you to provide a 8 digit PIN by, yes, holding the Home button for 30 seconds. Obviously, your TV needs to be connected to the Internet OK.
@Rustyben – the controller is working fine. I can controll the volume of the soundbar with the remote (adjusting via HMDI ARC). And like I mentioned, the general restart and system refresh have not done anything to fix. So intructions for a factory reset would be super helpful.
It will work as long as the modem can support moca and actually work with the main cable box to use tuners for the xi5/xi6. The reason they don’t support it is just that. If anything goes wrong they can’t remote in or send a tech to work on the moca connection for owned equipment.
